From the archive 1 2 3 (Number 3, advertising a dungeon offering electrocution services, was appropriated as a corporate identity by the incomparable IRDIAL DISCS. In 1994, IRDIAL published a book entitled 'the X-Directory', which remains the finest document of these fascinating ephemera. The extinct creature, which grew 33ft long and weighed up to four tons, was armed with a formidable array of bladed teeth which exerted a pressure of 80,000 pounds per square inch at the tip of its fangs. Saturn has 60 named natural satellites, although a precise number of moons can not be given, as there is no objective boundary between the countless small anonymous objects that form Saturn's ring system and the larger objects that have been named as moons. My personal favourite is one of the inner large moons, Mimas. ph: Cassini 2007. NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute
